HASTE MAKES WASTE:

A woman had a pet mongoose. It was very faithful. One day she went to the market, leaving her baby in the care of the mongoose.

At that time a big cobra entered the house. The mongoose killed it after a long and fierce fight. When the woman came back she saw the mongoose lying at the entrance. She noticed its blood- covered mouth. In her haste the woman thought that the mongoose had killed her baby. In a moment of sudden fury, the threw the water pot on the mongoose and killed it . Alas when she entered the house she was filled with remorse. Her baby was playing cheerfully near by a big cobra lay dead. The woman shed tears of grief fondling the carcass of the mongoose.

The moral lesson:- Don’t act in haste.

The Lion and the Cows

Once upon a time there lived four cows in the forest. Everyday they used to graze together in a particular place.

One day a lion passed on the way and saw the cows. The lion went near the cows.

When the cow saw the lion , all of them fought against it . The lion ran way. After some days, the cows quarreled each other and began to graze in different places. The lion came there and killed them one by one.

Moral :- Unity is Strength

The farmer and the Golden duck

The farmer lived in a small  village . He had many ducks in his house.

One of the ducks would lay a golden egg everyday. He sold the golden egg and became rich.

One day the farmer thought that there would be more golden eggs in the stomach of the duck.

If the cut the stomach, he could take all the golden eggs and he would became very rich.

So he took a knife and cut the duck. But he found only one golden egg and felt very sad.

Moral story: Greed leads to heavy loss 

The Greedy Dog

The dog was searching for food. He found a bone. He kept it in his mouth on the way, it had to cross a bridge when it was crossing the bridge, it saw its reflection in the water. It thought that there was another dog with a bone. He wanted to get that bone too. So he barked. His bone fell into the water. The greedy dog lost its food.

The fox and the crane : - A short moral story

Many years ago there was a lived fox and a crane in the forest. They became friends.

One day the fox invited the crane for a dinner, the crane accepted and went with the fox. The fox kept the dishes in two flat plates. The crane was unable to eat it.

The fox alone ate up. The crane left the place. After some time, the crane invited the fox for a dinner. The fox went with the crane. The crane kept the dishes in two tall jars.

The crane ate the dishes with its along beak. But the fox was unable to eat it. Hence the fox left the place with anger.
